  1. Can I rent more than one product at the same time?

    Yes you can rent at the same time every product you want from the same account.

  2. Where do I pick up the sport equipment?

    You will receive an email with the necessary informations at the time of booking confirmation and you will be able to communicate with the owner directly from our instant messaging service.

  3. How do I act if the product doesn't comply with item online (ex: different model, malfunction of the product, etc)?

    In that unpleasant case our international customer care will be at your disposal to intervene by reimbursing the costs finding an alternative solution. We encourage you to write us immediately to the email info@sharewood.io so that we can take action promptly and dealing with the renter.

  4. How does the payment work?

    Sharewood uses Stripe, the secure and certified method of payment. When you send a request of booking, you make a payment in advance as a guarantee, but the total amount will be charged only if the applicant will confirm your reservation. The total amount includes all the costs of service, so you will not pay extra fees.

  5. Can I pay in cash?

    No You can’t because we want to safeguard your money, so every payment will be made by credit card at the time of booking confirmation. This will allow us to have a traceable evidence that you paid to get the service.

  1. Can I rent more than one product at the same time?

    Sure, You can rent any sport equipment you need. You can upload more than one item: it’s always free/it’s free of charge

  2. Who chooses the rental price?

    You choose the price.

  3. Is there a maximum or minimum cost?

    You can’t set a price less than 1€, but you can choose the maximum price that you want, paying attention not to set too high prices, because you may risk that your sport equipment will be discarded by possible renters/clients.

  4. How much does it cost to rent my sport equipment?

    The registration and the upload of your items is completely free. We earn, when you also earn. At the time of rental confirmation, Sharewood will keep 15% of the total transaction amount. In that percentage/cost is included the percentage due to Stripe, the secure and certified method of payment.

  5. What should I do if I can’t accept a reservation?

    You will be able to deal directly with the renter. In case of a series of difficulties, you will be free to refuse the reservation without constraints and penalties.

  6. How do pick up and delivery of the equipment work?

    Once the reservation has been confirmed, the renter has the possibility to communicate with you thanks to our instant messaging service. You will be able to deal about the location and pickup/delivery time.

  8. Can everyone see my location address, when I localize the address?

    No, they can’t. Sharewood will just show the area where your product is localized. Your address will be known, only when your reservation will be accepted.

  9. Can I rent my sport equipment at different locations/in different places?

    Yes you can. you are able to localise/locate your sport equipment at different locations. If you own a beach house or a chalet you can decide to locate both, as well as you can add your office address. This system will make more evident your items in order to receive more reservations.

  10. Can I accept payments in cash?

    No You can’t because we want to safeguard your sport equipment, so every payment will be made by credit card at the time of booking confirmation. This will allow us to have a traceable evidence that someone else is using your product. Accepting payments in cash you will not have any assurance/guarantee.

  11. How do I receive payments?

    In order to receive payments (from renter) is necessary to select View menu displayed on the top right, click on “Edit Profile” and “Add bank account” . Once finished, you will be able to receive direct payments.

  12. How should I proceed if my equipment is damaged upon delivery?

    You have to inform Sharewood within 24 hours to the e-mail info@sharewood.io. Describe the damage caused, including accurate photos in order to make a report. Sharewood will compare with your pictures uploaded online and will establish/determine the amount of damage by providing insurance coverage if the conditions referred have been met.
